ABOUT KURT

Kurt Heumiller received a Bachelor of the Fine Arts in Professional Photographic Illustration and Fine Art Photography with a minor in Imaging Systems from the Rochester Institute of Technology.

Since 2008 Kurt has worked in the cultural heritage imaging sector working for fine art museums and collaborating with other imaging professionals from libraries and museums from around the world to improve the methods and techniques of documenting, preserving, and disseminating our shared cultural knowledge.

In his personal work, Kurt finds a fascination with cycles and repetition, that help find order within the chaos of our daily lives. Much of his work revolves around examining these different ways in which we find peace and make sense of an infinitely complex world.
